There are state and federal financial aid funds available to help eligible applicants meet educational costs. The best time to apply for financial aid is during January preceding the academic year for which you are applying. For example, apply in January 2017 for Fall 2017. You must reapply for financial aid each academic year.
The Roadrunner Hub Basic Needs Resource Center is a network of people and programs that offer students food and housing resources to limit the barriers to their educational goals and success.
Inspiring Scholars is a program for Butte College students who have been in foster care. Inspiring Scholars is designed to help students get into college, stay in college, and reach their academic goals -- be that an associate's degree or transfer to another college or university.
Scholarships are cash awards which do not have to be repaid. Scholarships are granted for different reasons including financial need, grade point average, career goals, or residency. A variety of scholarships are available through the Butte College Foundation and the application process begins each Spring.

The on-campus clinic provides low cost emergency medical treatment, healthcare services, and crisis and personal therapy for all eligible students.
The UndocuCenter serves undocumented students and students who come from a mixed-status family household by connecting them to institutional support or community services. Our center supports our undocumented student population through: Community outreach, ally training for faculty, staff, and student staff, campus events, and direct student support. Our center's programs and activities are designed to increase undocumented student retention, persistence, and completion at Butte College.
